coast it is possible to take a ferry to many of the other towns along the
coast and also to the beautiful islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. The
most famous of all archaeological sights, Pompeii is at ashort distance,
near Naples and can be reached by train. Vesuvius in all it's splendour
is a must and is also a short distance from Naples. Wherever you wish tospend

Villa Limonaia situated on a vast estate, known as "La Badia"
once belonging to an ancient convent located on the mountainside.
This estate is now an extensive area devoted to well-tended lemon
cultivation, with trellises stretching from the peak of the promontory
almost as far as sea-level. Guests at the Limonaia may enjoy the
exclusive use of the lovely 20 x 4 swimming-pool where the architect's
imaginative flair is again revealed: one side of the pool is made
up of the retaining wall of the sheer sea cliff.
